About Us
University of the Philippines Psychological Understanding for Growth and Distinction Society (UP PUGAD Sayk) is a university-wide organization that advocates the revolutionary enhancement of psychology as a discipline that can greatly contribute to the advancement of society by understanding human nature and behavior. We promote psychology to both our members and non-members by applying beneficial psychological principles in all our projects (e.g. outreaches, advocacy fairs, and medical missions). Within the org, our members are bound by our vision of maximizing our own potential in all fields of human existence, and to extend this as service, whenever possible to non-members. UP PUGAD Sayk also seeks to foster a familial environment for its diverse set of members from all courses and backgrounds for it is in this diversity that we create unity and genuine relationships built on honesty, integrity, and trust.

PSYCHED Freshie Tour
UP PUGAD Sayk’s yearly initiative that aims to welcome the new Iskolars ng Bayan to the University of the Philippines and to the Department of Psychology.
PUGAD Week
Week-long activity that celebrates the anniversary of the organization. In this, the organization primarily aims to strengthen the bond between the members and applicants and share the warmth of PUGAD to people outside of the organization.
PFA Month
PFA Month, also known as Psych For All Month, is a month-long series of events and activities that is focused on unveiling and demystifying the myths and mysteries behind psychology.
Branch Out
Branch Out is a donation drive for the children at The Heart at Play Foundation (THP) and families from Servants of Charity.
Psych 101 Talks
Psych 101 Talks are held online to promote dialogues about Psych 101 topics, especially to help the non-Psych Chicklets learn more about the field of Psychology.
TEDi Talk
Online talks and webinars, much like how TED Talks are, to discuss certain interesting and out of the box topics.
Memorable Mondays, Talino Tuesdays, Fun Fact Fridays, etc.
